We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and possesses a keen attention to detail. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by addressing inquiries, providing information about hotel services, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a friendly demeanor and provide a warm welcome upon arrival.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently and accurately.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and assist callers with inquiries or reservations.
  • Handle and resolve guest complaints in a calm and professional manner.
  • Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, room assignments, and billing information.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new arrivals.
  • Process payments, issue room keys, and manage cash drawers securely and responsibly.
  • Monitor and manage the lobby area to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Assist in scheduling and confirming reservations for dining, transportation, or activities.
  • Communicate with other departments to fulfill guest requests or address issues promptly.
  • Promote special offers, loyalty programs, and in-house events to guests when applicable.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality education is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with guests professionally.
  • Proficient in using computers, hotel reservation software, and related technology.
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities in a high-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and service.
