Service Engineer

For Sartorius Stedim India Pvt. Ltd, we are looking for the Services Engineer to join our team in Ahmedabad. In this role, He will be responsible for delivering the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.

Key Responsibilities

What you will accomplish together with us:

• Install, commission, and maintain instrumentation equipment across customer sites and internal facilities.
• Calibrate and validate instruments in compliance with industry standards (GMP/GxP).
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of sensor/instrument failures.
• Support preventive maintenance schedules and documentation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including quality, production, and service.
• Prepare and maintain accurate service reports, calibration certificates, and compliance documentation.
• Assist in FAT/SAT execution and technical support during audits or inspections.
• Recommend upgrades or improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.
  
  

What Will Convince Us

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in biotech, pharma, or life sciences industry.
• Experience working with bioreactors, fermenters, filtration systems, or pharma equipment.
• Exposure to SCADA/PLC-based systems.
• Hands-on experience with sensors, controllers, transmitters, flow meters, pH, DO, pressure, and temperature instruments.
• Knowledge of GMP/GAMP guidelines, calibration protocols, and cleanroom standards.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required
