Job Description

The Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor is a key position within the hospitality and restaurant industry, responsible for overseeing the service operations in restaurants, bars, and other dining venues. As an F&B Supervisor, you will be charged with ensuring that all customers have a remarkable dining experience while guaranteeing that the establishment meets or exceeds all operational standards. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, handling customer complaints, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations. A successful candidate will possess excellent multitasking skills, superb attention to detail, and the ability to lead and inspire a team. The F&B Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of the establishment’s service while increasing customer satisfaction and retention.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of food and beverage services in the establishment.
  • Train, mentor, and manage all staff in the food and beverage department.
  • Ensure compliance with food, health, and safety regulations at all times.
  • Monitor and manage the inventory of supplies, ingredients, and equipment needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve any issues or complaints efficiently.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other departments to improve guest experiences.
  • Develop and implement innovative menu ideas and service concepts.
  • Maintain financial records and manage budgets to maximize profitability.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to motivate staff.
  • Implement operational policies and procedures to enhance service quality.
  • Ensure all facilities and equipment are clean, functional, and well-maintained.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service operations and standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to manage a team effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail is essential.
  • Familiarity with budget management, financial analysis, and inventory control.
  • Valid certification in food safety and hygiene standards compliance.
