Job Description

The Senior Technical Executive is a pivotal role in bridging the technical and managerial aspects of the organization. This role involves overseeing a team of technical professionals, ensuring the smooth operation and delivery of technical projects. The Senior Technical Executive is responsible for strategic planning, developing and implementing technology solutions that align with the organization's goals. They also play a crucial role in managing technology budgets and resources, evaluating new technologies, and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and vendors. With a combination of leadership and advanced technical skills, the individual in this role must be able to effectively communicate with executives to relay technical information in business terms, as well as guide and mentor the technical team to achieve project excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive technical projects and initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Develop strategic plans that align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Manage technology budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery of technical solutions.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance company operations and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all technical projects.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide developmental feedback to technical staff.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with technology vendors and partners.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies for timely mitigation.
  • Ensure the delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget constraints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in technology management or a relevant role required.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams to deliver projects successfully.
  • Excellent understanding of technology infrastructure and software development processes.
  • Strong project management skills with expertise in budget planning and resource allocation.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interpret complex technical information effectively.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools for managing technology projects.
  • Ability to evaluate and implement emerging technologies beneficial to the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
