Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare laser machine equipment for daily production operations.
• Operate laser cutting machines to fabricate metal and other materials precisely.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for machine operations.
• Monitor the machine’s performance and make adjustments as required during operations.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on finished products to ensure specifications are met.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the laser machines and work area.
• Document production activities, quality checks, and maintenance logs accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues quickly.
• Apply safety practices and ensure all operations comply with company safety protocols.
• Maintain inventory of materials and order supplies as needed for production needs.
• Train and mentor junior operators, sharing best practices and operational knowledge.
• Stay updated with new laser technology advancements and industry practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is an asset.
• Minimum of 2 years experience operating laser machines in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications.
• Understanding of machine operation and maintenance protocols and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
