Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up dining areas and ensuring they are cleaned afterwards.
• Take and serve customer orders accurately and efficiently following protocols.
• Maintain a welcoming and clean environment within the dining and service areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared timely and correctly.
• Support the hospitality team by restocking necessary supplies throughout shifts.
• Engage with guests courteously, providing them with updates on their orders.
• Monitor guests' needs, responding promptly and effectively to any requests.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly, escalating to supervisors if needed.
• Assist in processing cash and card payments accurately during billing operations.
• Participate in team meetings and training to enhance service delivery.
• Conduct inventory checks to manage stock levels and report shortages.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with experience in hospitality preferred.
• Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in food and beverage services.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to multitask effectively and work well under pressure in a busy setting.
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail in service operations.
• Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks regularly.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and experience with point of sale systems.
