AutoCAD Drafter (225-812)

As an AutoCAD Drafter, you will play a vital role in the design and construction process by producing accurate and detailed drawings that bring concepts to life. You will use AutoCAD software to create technical drawings based on designers' plans. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of engineering standards, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs and drawings using AutoCAD software based on given specifications.
• Revise designs and drawings to incorporate design changes and client feedback promptly.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Adhere to all project deadlines by managing time efficiently across multiple projects.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings and blueprints for various engineering projects.
• Interpret design concepts and sketches into 2D and 3D renders for easy comprehension.
• Ensure designs adhere to engineering standards, codes, and regulations at all times.
• Update and maintain all AutoCAD files and project documentation regularly.
• Assist project managers in project planning by providing accurate material estimates.
• Participate in design reviews to provide insights and recommendations for improvements.
• Ensure prompt and clear communication of project updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Verify the accuracy of calculations to ensure the specifications meet project needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter or in a similar design role.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software and other design programs such as Revit.
• Good knowledge of engineering design principles and technical drawing standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills for effective designs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear stakeholder collaboration.
• Associate degree or diploma in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
