Job Description

As an Accounts & Purchase Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial and procurement operations of the organization. This dual-faceted role requires a keen eye for detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. You will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, process transactions, and contribute to the effective management of the supply chain through efficient purchasing processes. Working closely with the finance and procurement teams, you will help ensure that all financial dealings comply with company policies and regulations. Your role will also involve supporting the analysis of financial data to aid in strategic decision-making processes. Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records and monthly invoices.
  • Support the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Contribute to inventory management by monitoring stock levels and recommending reorders.
  • Process purchase orders and ensure alignment with budgeting procedures and policies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate prices and secure advantageous terms.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and procurement policies.
  • Help maintain and update supplier databases for better relationship management.
  • Assist in preparing reports for audits, year-end assessments, and other financial analyses.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile discrepancies and resolve invoice issues.
  • Providing administrative support through the management of files and financial documents.
  • Ensure timely issuance of payments and processing of payments to vendors.
  • Assist in budget preparations, forecasting, and monitoring departmental expenditures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in accounting or procurement roles.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and familiarity with standard office tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Effective communication skills capable of facilitating vendor and team interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
