Job Description

The Retail Merchandising Specialist plays a crucial role in the retail industry by ensuring that products are displayed in a manner that can attract customers and drive sales. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with retail team to implement visually appealing product displays effectively.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations in retail stores.
  • Review and adjust product pricing based on competitive analysis and market trends.
  • Design and implement promotional activities to boost sales during peak seasons.
  • Stay updated with the latest merchandising trends and consumer preferences.
  • Maintain effective communication between marketing teams and retail operations staff.
  • Ensure that all merchandising activities comply with company policy and industry regulations.
  • Conduct periodic training sessions for retail staff on merchandising standards and practices.
  • Prepare detailed reports on merchandising performance and present findings to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in retail merchandising or a similar role is required.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and consumer behavior trends.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Great attention to detail and a creative mindset for effective product presentation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis purposes.
