Job Description

As a Compliance Executive, you will play an integral role in ensuring that our organization adheres to internal policies as well as regulatory and legal requirements. This role involves proactively identifying potential compliance issues and risk associated with various organizational processes while developing, implementing, and managing relevant compliance programs. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure statutory regulations are met and will serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies when necessary. Your analytical and methodical approach to compliance and risk assessment will help ensure that our company not only meets but exceeds compliance standards. If you possess a keen eye for detail and immaculate organizational skills, and you have a strong desire to uphold ethical and legal standards, this position is ideally suited to you.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor adherence to internal policies and statutory regulations regularly and thoroughly.
  • Develop compliance programs to address potential risks and compliance issues proactively.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure that compliance protocols are being followed meticulously.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure compliance requirements are met seamlessly.
  • Update and maintain compliance documentation and manage filing systems effectively.
  • Stay informed on relevant legislative changes and trends in the regulatory environment.
  • Liaise with governmental and regulatory agencies to ensure proper communication and compliance.
  • Provide training and awareness sessions to staff on compliance-related topics regularly.
  • Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Prepare detailed reports on compliance-related activities and findings for senior management.
  • Collaborate with legal and operational teams to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely submission of compliance documentation and certificates to relevant authorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, law, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in compliance or a related field for a minimum of three years.
  • Thorough understanding of industry regulations and compliance management practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in compliance management software and MS Office Suite is essential.
