Job Description

The role of a Senior Finance Executive is paramount in guiding a company’s financial decision-making processes toward achieving long-term success. This position is crucial for overseeing and enhancing the financial operations of the organization. The Senior Finance Executive is responsible for implementing financial strategies and ensuring the financial health and growth within the company. This entails gathering and analyzing financial information to predict business performance, preparing reports for senior management, and providing strategic recommendations to aid in business decisions. The role requires a thorough understanding of financial regulations, the ability to manage financial risks, and the skills to develop and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions. The Senior Finance Executive will closely work with other executives to develop and manage the organization's budgets, assess economic trends, and improve financial planning processes.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligning with company goals.
  • Oversee the preparation and management of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Analyze the company's financial performance and propose improvements.
  • Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Lead risk management projects and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor economic trends and assess their impact on company finances.
  • Establish relationships with third parties and external institutions.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive business growth opportunities.
  • Present financial reports and data to board members and stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team to enhance department performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a senior financial role.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and risk management.
  • Experience with financial forecasting and financial reporting processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a finance team.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient with financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • CPA or MBA certification is strongly preferred.
