Job Description

An HRIS Ops Analyst is a critical player within the human resources technology landscape of any organization, providing specialized support and maintenance for the institution's Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role involves the integration, reporting, and optimization of the HRIS systems to ensure efficient HR operations across the organization. The HRIS Ops Analyst serves as a bridge between HR functions and information technology, enhancing HR processes through effective data management and system functionality. As experts in HRIS platforms, they collaborate with HR departments to design, implement, and monitor systems that capture and maintain personnel data, ultimately improving the accuracy and integrity of crucial HR metrics and reporting. In this role, you must balance technical expertise with a deep understanding of HR operations and policy compliance, ensuring that the HRIS system aligns with and supports the organization’s strategic objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the integrity and accuracy of the HRIS database.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to implement new HRIS features.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of HRIS processes.
  • Produce and analyze reports from the HRIS to support HR functions.
  • Provide technical support and training to HR staff using the HRIS.
  • Collaborate with vendors for HRIS updates and system enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices.
  • Identify system inefficiencies and recommend improvements or upgrades.
  • Lead user acceptance testing for new HRIS system developments.
  • Monitor system performance and address any functionality issues promptly.
  • Maintain a log of system issues and solutions to track changes and updates.
  • Support the integration of HRIS with other company systems for data consistency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with HRIS platforms and HR operations.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for handling HRIS data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software, such as Workday or SAP.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information ethically.
  • Experience with data reporting tools and techniques for effective analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
