Civil Design Engineer (225-818)

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Design Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. As a Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, dams, and water systems. Your role will involve creating detailed design plans, collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders, conducting site assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will also play a vital role in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design plans and specifications for civil engineering projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
• Assess sites to evaluate potential risks and design considerations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Manage project budgets and resources to optimize engineering solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments for new projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and interns.
• Prepare and present project reports and documentation to stakeholders and clients.
• Liaise with construction teams to ensure design intent is accurately implemented.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating detailed engineering designs.
• Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and government agencies as necessary.
• Identify and resolve design and development issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil design engineering is preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D is essential.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction practices, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• PE (Professional Engineer) license or eligibility is strongly preferred.
