Job Description

The Supply Chain Operations Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of a company's supply chain processes. This position requires a strategic thinker who can analyze supply chain processes and determine ways to enhance operations. The role involves collaborating with various departments including procurement, operations, and logistics to plan, implement, and oversee supply chain strategies. An ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. This executive is responsible for streamlining processes, improving delivery times, and minimizing costs, all while ensuring that high-quality service standards are maintained.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain operations.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Oversee inventory management to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations in supply chain processes.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
  • Implement technologies to advance supply chain operations and improve workflow.
  • Monitor logistics operations to ensure efficient distribution and transportation of goods.
  • Lead a team of supply chain professionals and provide training as needed.
  • Prepare reports on supply chain performance for senior management review.
  • Identify risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain operations management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proven track record of improving supply chain processes and efficiencies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Proficiency with supply chain management software and technologies.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
