Job Description

The Sales Support role is a critical position within the sales department, serving as the backbone for the sales team by providing the necessary administrative and logistical assistance to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team in generating new business by researching potential leads.
  • Manage and update customer databases and customer relationship management systems accurately.
  • Coordinate with the marketing department to prepare informative sales presentations.
  • Provide daily administrative support including handling emails and scheduling meetings.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries by directing them to the appropriate department.
  • Prepare sales reports and presentations to facilitate decision-making processes.
  • Liaise with the shipping department to ensure the timely delivery of products.
  • Track sales orders and ensure that they are scheduled and sent out on time.
  • Monitor the sales team’s performance and prepare reports on achievements and areas to improve.
  • Assist with resolving any customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to handle invoices and process payments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s products and services for informed assistance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role required.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
