Job Description

As a Purchase Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing the procurement activities of an organization, ensuring that goods and services are sourced at competitive prices, on time, and in accordance with company policies. Your expertise in supplier relationship management, negotiations, and strategic sourcing will be crucial in maintaining cost-efficiency and supporting operational needs. You will collaborate closely with various departments to comprehend their purchasing requirements and align procurement strategies with business objectives. By analyzing market trends and supplier performance, you will secure optimal contracts and maintain an updated database of vendors. As a key member of the supply chain team, you will ensure seamless coordination and communication across departments to foster a productive procurement process.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the entire procurement process for goods and services.
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies tailored to business objectives.
  • Maintain and evaluate a comprehensive database of suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers effectively and efficiently.
  • Monitor market trends to identify changes and understand their impact on procurement.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services according to contractual agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill procurement needs accurately and promptly.
  • Prepare regular reports on purchase volumes and supplier performance analytics.
  • Review and process purchase orders and payment documentation accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising on quality or service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a procurement or supply chain role within a company.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and prices.
  • Excellent understanding of purchasing strategies, processes, and methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance efficiently.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
