Job Description

A Psychologist is a specialized professional dedicated to understanding, diagnosing, and treating mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed and confidential records of client sessions and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate a holistic approach to client care.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and developments in psychological treatments and practices.
  • Supervise and mentor junior psychology professionals and interns in their professional growth.
  • Conduct workshops or educational sessions on mental health topics for community awareness.
  • Provide emergency psychological support during critical or high-stress situations.
  • Engage in regular professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Advocate for mental health awareness and the reduction of stigma related to mental disorders.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in clinical or counseling psychology practice.
  • Strong understanding of psychological theories and therapeutic techniques for various disorders.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact and build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all dealings.
  • Proficient in maintaining detailed and organized clinical documentation efficiently.
