Job Description

The Operations Manager for a Toys Store is a dynamic and strategic role essential to the smooth and efficient functionality of our retail operations. This position involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing inventory, and implementing effective cost-saving measures. The Operations Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure compliance with corporate policies, as well as maintain a high standard of visual merchandising and store presentation. Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of retail associates to maximize store performance.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and management.
  • Supervise daily store operations, including opening, closing, and cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain and enhance store visual merchandising standards according to guidelines.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and make informed decisions for the store.
  • Implement health and safety policies to ensure a safe shopping environment.
  • Resolve customer service issues promptly and maintain positive customer relations.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff and provide constructive feedback.
  • Organize and oversee promotional events to drive sales and customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail operations management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills are essential for this role.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to make strategic decisions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff and customers.
