Network Engineer (225-907)

As a Network Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing the local and wide area networks of our organization to ensure maximum uptime for users. You'll be responsible for configuring and managing network equipment like routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks, as well as troubleshooting issues and optimizing system performance. You'll work closely with other IT professionals, so strong communication skills are essential. Your expertise will also be vital in planning and developing network systems and in securing the network infrastructure against cyber threats. Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network configurations to meet company objectives.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex network issues proactively.

• Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining the necessary controls.

• Evaluate and recommend new networking tools and technologies to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network configuration and management.
• Hands-on experience with networking hardware such as routers and switches.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve network issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and security protocols.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are preferred.
