Maintenance Electrician (225-917)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our team. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment within our facility. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair tasks to resolve electrical problems effectively.

• Ensure all electrical installations comply with relevant safety standards and codes.
• Document all maintenance activities, keeping detailed records for future reference.
• Coordinate with other departments to minimize production downtime due to electrical issues.
• Assist in the development and implementation of electrical maintenance programs.
• Provide training and guidance to junior electricians and apprentices on the team.
• Collaborate with external contractors for specialized electrical tasks and projects.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance electrical safety and efficiency.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and urgent repair requests.
• Assist in the procurement and inventory management of electrical supplies and parts.

Requirements

• Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training as an electrician.
• Valid electrician’s license or certification in accordance with state regulations.
• At least 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting required.
• Proficient knowledge of electrical codes, safety protocols, and best practices.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
