The role of an Assistant Manager - Interiors encompasses an exciting mix of leadership, strategy, and design expertise. An Assistant Manager in Interiors supervises the planning, design, and oversight of interior construction projects to ensure they align with the company’s standards and clients' expectations. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of interior design projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with designers to develop concepts that meet client expectations and budgets.
  • Manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of all phases.
  • Coordinate with architects, builders, and contractors to achieve design specifications.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports and updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and local building regulations.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and maintain quality assurance.
  • Resolve any project-related issues that arise during the construction phase.
  • Develop cost estimates and manage project budgets effectively.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to source quality materials.
  • Lead client meetings to address concerns and adjust project plans as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in interior project management or design.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of industry-standard design software and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
  • Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ability to inspire and lead teams to achieve project goals efficiently.
