Job Description

As a Clinic Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility. Your primary responsibility is to manage the day-to-day activities of our clinic, ensuring that both patients and staff members have a seamless experience. You will act as the first point of contact for patients, manage scheduling, handle administrative tasks, and work closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently. A successful Clinic Coordinator should also have a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and the inner workings of clinical environments. By ensuring operational efficiency, you will contribute significantly to the patient experience and support the healthcare mission of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations and administrative functions of the clinic efficiently.
  • Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with healthcare professionals accordingly.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and timely.
  • Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and other clinic staff.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies at all times.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure that medical supplies are stocked properly.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of operational procedures for the clinic.
  • Provide support during patient check-in and check-out processes to enhance service quality.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute ideas to improve clinic operations.
  • Handle billing and insurance claims processes accurately and efficiently.
  • Train and supervise junior administrative staff to perform daily tasks effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
  • Proficiency in medical billing and electronic health records management systems.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards is essential for compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
