Job Description

The Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving growth and enhancing the company’s market position. This dynamic and strategic role requires a forward-thinking professional who can identify new business opportunities, build and foster strong relationships with potential clients, and develop strategic initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership qualities, a deep understanding of market trends, and a proven track record of success in business development. As a Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the sales, marketing, and management teams to create and implement effective business strategies. Your ability to communicate effectively, negotiate compelling deals, and leverage market insights will be pivotal in driving the business forward.


Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, and propose new business opportunities to enhance company growth.
  • Develop and implement effective business strategies to support organizational objectives.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners.
  • Communicate market trends and business opportunities to senior management regularly.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals with prospective clients and partners.
  • Analyse competitor strategies and adjust business tactics accordingly.
  • Develop proposals and presentations for potential and existing clients.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.
  • Manage and oversee the business development team, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
