Job Description

The Social Media Executive plays a vital role in shaping the online presence of a company or brand. This position involves developing and implementing strategies to enhance a brand’s visibility across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more. The individual will create engaging content, monitor social media channels, and interact with audiences to foster a strong community around the brand. The role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to effectively deliver the brand's message and align social media activities with business objectives. The Social Media Executive will work closely with marketing, public relations, and digital teams to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all platforms.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for brand growth.
  • Create and schedule engaging content tailored to each social media platform.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance and user engagement.
  • Stay current with social media trends and continuously propose innovative ideas.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media with broader campaigns.
  • Respond promptly to followers’ comments and messages to enhance user engagement.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns to support promotional efforts.
  • Identify target audiences and adjust social media strategies to effectively reach them.
  • Maintain brand voice and messaging consistency across all social media interactions.
  • Plan and manage social media contests, giveaways, and other engagement tactics.
  • Build relationships with influencers to expand social reach and credibility.
  • Coordinate with in-house or external designers for visual content creation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or in similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail in content creation.
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
  • Creativity and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects.
