We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Designer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings using CAD software specific to sheet metal projects.
• Analyze technical specifications and translate them into practical design solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and optimize designs.
• Create and maintain accurate records of design changes and revisions.
• Interpret customer requirements and ensure design outputs meet their specifications.
• Support production teams by resolving design-related challenges promptly and effectively.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Engage in regular design reviews and collaborate on modifications as required.
• Assist in developing prototypes and testing new design concepts as needed.
• Estimate material consumption and production costs related to design choices.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance design quality and efficiency.
• Provide expert guidance on materials selection to optimize product performance and cost.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sheet metal design and fabrication.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs.
• In-depth knowledge of sheet metal materials, processes, and manufacturing techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Attention to detail with a strong focus on precision and quality in design work.
