Job Description

A Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in the functionality and efficiency of a sales team. Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales team by providing administrative support and managing daily tasks.

  • Maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems regularly and accurately.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide information in a timely manner.
  • Support sales representatives in the preparation of proposals and agreements.
  • Monitor and track sales targets and KPIs, reporting progress to management.
  • Handle product or service questions and consult with sales associates as necessary.
  • Organize and participate in sales meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
  • Assist in managing post-sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and suggest improvements to sales processes.
  • Manage logistics for sales events and assist with marketing and advertising initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales support or similar administrative role required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail are essential.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to anticipate the needs of the sales team.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
