A Medical Sales Representative plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between healthcare professionals and pharmaceutical companies. The primary objective is to meet or exceed sales targets by building strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough research to gather insights on competitors and industry trends.
  • Represent the company at medical conferences and networking events to promote products.
  • Plan and deliver product presentations to healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
  • Achieve sales targets while adhering to compliance and ethical standards in sales practices.
  • Provide up-to-date product information and ensure healthcare providers are fully informed.
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to strategize on increasing market share.
  • Manage territory efficiently to maximize product exposure and accessibility to clients.
  • Utilize CRM software to track sales calls, customer activities, and sales performance.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any potential concerns.
  • Stay informed about new medications and treatments to maintain a competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, or related discipline preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in medical sales or a similar field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with healthcare professionals.
  • Adept in using CRM software and other sales-related technology tools.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry regulations and ethical guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a dynamic sales team.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet with healthcare providers and stakeholders.
