Job Description

A Training & Development Associate plays a crucial role in enhancing the performance and skills of a company’s workforce. This position is responsible for identifying training needs, developing training programs, and implementing them effectively within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to assess training requirements, and a strong capability to deliver engaging and effective training sessions. This role is pivotal for ensuring that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to meet company objectives and excel in their roles. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to succeed in this dynamic and influential position.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify skill gaps among employees.
  • Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
  • Create a wide range of learning interventions including workshops and e-learning courses.
  • Coordinate training schedules, logistics, and ensure appropriate training materials are available.
  • Facilitate engaging training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Evaluate training programs by collecting and analyzing participant feedback and other performance metrics.
  • Maintain updated curriculum database and training records to track training completion and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with department managers to create tailored development plans for teams and individuals.
  • Ensure training programs comply with relevant legal and ethical standards.
  • Stay updated with current trends and methodologies in professional training and development.
  • Support career development initiatives and build knowledge-sharing strategies within the company.
  • Assist in sourcing and selecting external training consultants and other learning resources as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within training and development settings.
  • Strong understanding of various training methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage audiences.
  • Ability to assess and identify training needs through surveys and consultations.
  • Skilled in the use of learning management software and e-learning platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluating training program effectiveness and efficiency.
