Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required.
• Select and mix paints according to specifications, using proper ratios and tools.
• Apply primers, base coats, and clear coats to vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of paint application, avoiding drips and imperfections.
• Operate spray equipment including guns, compressors, and booths, following safety protocols.
• Maintain painting equipment and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
• Conduct quality checks and make adjustments to adhere to established standards.
• Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Document completed work and update records accurately in the company system.
• Provide input during team meetings to optimize production and enhance quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent educational background is required.
• Demonstrated experience in spray painting, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of paint types, solvents, and thinning solutions is essential.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in painting operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders effectively.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining various spray painting tools and equipment.
