Scrum Master - L2 (225-724)

The Scrum Master - L2 plays a critical role in fostering an effective and efficient agile environment. This position requires working closely with cross-functional teams to guide them in following agile practices and leading them through the scrum processes. A Scrum Master - L2 is essential in enhancing the team's capacity, boosting productivity, and ensuring the successful completion of projects that align with the company’s strategic goals. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to remove impediments that might hinder the team's progress. The ideal candidate should have a profound understanding of agile methodologies and previous experience managing medium to large-scale projects within a corporate structure.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings for the team.
• Guide and mentor team members on Agile best practices and methodologies.
• Ensure the team is following the agile principles and values in their work processes.
• Work closely with product owners to ensure a healthy and prioritized backlog.
• Assist the team in estimating work and ensuring accurate sprint planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove blockers and resolve dependencies.
• Monitor the progress of sprints and adjust activities to improve team efficiency.
• Help the team focus on creating deliverables of high quality within the sprint timeline.
• Implement strategies to improve team morale and keep the team motivated.
• Facilitate communication between teams, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration.
• Develop and deliver reports on scrum metrics and performance indicators.
• Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to enhance team performance and growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience acting as a Scrum Master in an agile environment.
• Proven track record managing medium to large projects with agile methodologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
• Proficiency with agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar software is a must.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle conflict and negotiations competently.
