As an IT Support Specialist, you are at the forefront of maintaining the technical health of an organization. Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory and ensure availability of necessary IT equipment.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level IT personnel or management.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to maintain network security effectively.
  • Offer guidance to users on technology best practices and optimizations.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for technical support and services.
  • Perform regular system upgrades ensuring minimal disruption to users.
  • Conduct system performance checks and conduct maintenance duties regularly.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required by the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in IT support or related roles.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting network, software, and hardware issues.
  • Strong knowledge of IT support methodologies and best practices.
  • Effective communication skills to assist non-technical users efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools is advantageous.
