Job Description

The Food and Beverage Executive plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and overall effectiveness of the food and beverage department in a hospitality setting. This position requires one to be highly organized, possess excellent leadership qualities, and have a keen eye for detail. As a Food and Beverage Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations, managing staff, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will also be tasked with budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and implementing marketing strategies to increase sales and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be resourceful in optimizing service quality and operational efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department to ensure quality service.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for improving food and beverage offerings.
  • Manage and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and operations efficiency.
  • Collaborate with culinary team to develop innovative menus and specials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to prevent shortages and wastage.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards in food preparation.
  • Analyze financial data and develop cost-effective strategies to achieve budget targets.
  • Organize promotional and marketing initiatives to boost sales and guest retention.
  • Resolve customer complaints and feedback promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Prepare regular reports on department performance and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quality products and services.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including guests, staff, and partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a food and beverage managerial role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse groups.
  • Proven experience in budget management and cost control initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operational standards and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and streamline workflow processes.
