Job Description

The Food and Beverage Executive is a vital role in the hospitality sector, overseeing and managing the food and beverage operations to ensure the highest standards of service and quality. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of food and beverage trends, effective management skills, and a commitment to driving sales while maintaining budgetary constraints. They must also demonstrate the ability to innovate and motivate the team in consistently delivering memorable dining experiences. The role involves strategic planning, daily operations management, team leadership, and continuous evaluation and improvement of food and beverage offerings.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage departments promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards across all sites managed.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Manage the financial performance of the food and beverage department, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to secure cost-effective and quality ingredients and equipment.
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding food and beverage services swiftly and thoroughly.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor food and beverage staff to promote professional development.
  • Create menus that cater to a diverse clientele, reflecting current culinary trends and preferences.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure clear communication and operational consistency.
  • Analyze customer feedback and implement improvements in service and offerings as required.
  • Maintain inventory control, ensuring effective stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Liaise with other departments to coordinate special events and functions successfully.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in food and beverage management roles.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle conflict calmly and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement new menus and marketing plans effectively.
  • Solid understanding of budget management and the ability to work within financial parameters.
