Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive/Assistant Manager in Demand & Distribution Planning to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with a keen understanding of demand forecasting and distribution strategies. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that the right products reach the right places at the right time. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to align customer demand with inventory levels, optimize distribution channels, and enhance supply chain efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends and adjust demand forecasts to accommodate changes effectively.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing departments to align demand planning objectives.
  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock without overstocking or stockouts.
  • Develop and implement distribution planning strategies to optimize logistics operations.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to demand and distribution.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods received.
  • Manage the integration of new technologies into existing planning processes.
  • Lead a team of planners and provide guidance and performance evaluations.
  • Identify areas for improvement in demand forecasting and distribution processes.
  • Liaise with production teams to ensure resource availability meets demand forecasts.
  • Conduct regular reviews of distribution network capabilities and capacities.
  • Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies for supply chain disruptions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in demand planning or distribution management roles.
  • Proficiency in demand planning software and inventory management systems.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills are preferred.
