Job Summary

In this role, the incumbent will be a key member of Vialto Controllership function, responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, adherence to accounting standards, leading statutory audits, and maintaining effective internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing overall financial accounting and reporting of the Region (EMEA, APAC, US) end to end.
  • Fully understands Finance & Accounting functions and common best practices/processes for how they operate, as well their interactions in an F&A lifecycle.
  • Manages the delivery of all F&A services for assigned engagements including the planning, execution and management of month end close deliverables.
  • Completes analytical reviews and drafts narrative reviews of financial results.
  • Supports general ad hoc reporting requests.
  • Coordinates audit preparation and responds to information requests to support tax filings, local statutory audits and Global audits.

Leading the transition of entire accounting system and procedures for different countries being onsite/ offsite

  • Support SAP implementation, migration and smooth hyper care after implementation
  • Ensure robust financial accounting systems to provide accurate and timely information for management reporting
  • Coordinate preparations of compliance filings.
  • Manages annual reporting and compliance calendar.
  • Supervises the day-to-day workload of the team; manages task assignments; reviews final work product on assigned engagements and provides guidance to engagement resources.
  • Interacts effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm, including onshore engagement teams; functional leaders, demonstrates the capability to build and maintain strong relationships across the practice.
  • Ensures adherence of Global policies, procedures and accounting principles.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Management required, Masters degree preferred.
  • Professional certifications – Chartered Accountant

Experience

Qualified CA with greater than 12-15 years of experience delivering services for and managing F&A functions for regions like EMEA / APAC / US

  • Experience working in an outsourced operations environment required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of US GAAP and financial statement preparation.
  • Month end close management experience required.
  • Proven ability to lead a team in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously, while focusing on productivity, quality and customer satisfaction.
