Job Description

As a Warehouse Inventory Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the myriad of activities related to warehouse inventory management. You will ensure the efficient receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods. Your responsibility will encompass the entire inventory cycle right from monitoring stock levels to placing orders and managing deliveries. In this role, you will liaise with suppliers, manage inventory systems, and coordinate with warehouse staff to maintain accurate inventory records. An analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail will be key as you endeavor to improve inventory management accuracy and efficiency. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that all inventory processes run smoothly, and that goods are consistently available to meet the demands of internal stakeholders and customers.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of inventory management in the warehouse.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to maintain stock levels.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock control.
  • Ensure accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock audits and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory to meet demand.
  • Manage inventory discrepancies and resolve issues promptly to avoid disruption.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track, monitor, and report on stock levels.
  • Provide leadership and training to warehouse staff to ensure their skills are up-to-date.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to forecast inventory needs and adjust activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all inventory management activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory management within a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management software and tools is essential.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address inventory issues.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
