Job Description

A Telesales Executive plays a critical role in the sales department by using their communication skills to interact with potential and existing customers over the phone. The key function is to persuade potential customers to purchase products or services and handle any inquiries to provide customer satisfaction effectively. The Telesales Executive implements sales strategies, optimizes each call, and works collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales targets. The role requires a strong understanding of the company’s products or services, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This individual needs to maintain high call volumes and quickly address the needs of customers with a goal-driven approach. The position is ideal for someone who thrives on achieving targets, has a persuasive demeanor, and enjoys interacting with diverse clientele to generate leads and close sales.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to potential clients to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries and assist with their product or service needs.
  • Identify customer needs and offer relevant products or services to meet these needs.
  • Develop and maintain a well-organized database of existing and potential customers.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and retention after sale closure.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to strategize and meet sales targets.
  • Prepare daily reports detailing calls and sales outcomes for review by management.
  • Update CRM systems with accurate customer information and transaction records.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly to maintain positive relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide informed advice.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to company policies during all client interactions.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve telesales skills and sales techniques.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in telesales or customer service positions in a similar industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective telephone interaction.
  • Ability to work towards and achieve set sales targets consistently each month.
  • Strong understanding of company products and services offered to customers.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and maintaining up-to-date customer records.
  • Reliability in managing time effectively to balance multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Positive attitude, with an ability to handle rejection and remain motivated.
