Job Description

As a Retail Sales Executive, your role is pivotal in driving sales and enhancing customer experiences in a retail environment. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, guiding them through the buying process, and ensuring they receive outstanding service. You'll manage store operations, maintain merchandising standards, and provide feedback on market trends. Your friendly demeanor and strategic selling techniques will influence purchasing decisions, fostering customer loyalty and repeat business. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for retail, you'll also play a role in inventory management, promotional activities, and achieving sales targets. Your contribution will ensure the store's success and elevate the brand's reputation in the marketplace.


Responsibilities

  • Engage and assist customers to ensure a delightful shopping experience.
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge to inform customers effectively.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by implementing strategic selling techniques.
  • Manage store displays to uphold merchandising standards and visual appeal.
  • Manage stock levels and execute inventory control procedures accurately.
  • Provide feedback and insights on customer preferences and market trends.
  • Coordinate with the team for promotional activities and campaigns execution.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly.
  • Support operational processes, including cash handling and POS systems usage.
  • Offer after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Participate in training sessions to keep up-to-date with product offerings.
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas of improvement in store performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business is a plus.
  • Proven experience in retail sales or a customer service-oriented role.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to persuade and influence.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in daily activities.
  • Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.
