Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the management of the entire supply chain at our organization. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that shipments are handled smoothly and efficiently from origin to destination. In this role, you'll work closely with carriers, customers, warehouses, and internal teams to optimize logistics solutions and resolve any issues that may arise. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be essential in managing logistics and fulfilling client requirements promptly. In addition, your expertise in supply chain management and excellent communication abilities will be key to building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the logistics operations from origin to destination.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all logistics documentation.
  • Monitor shipment deliveries to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to optimize logistics activities and procedures.
  • Identify and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, and supply chain.
  • Track shipments and update clients on delivery status and requirements.
  • Implement best practices to improve logistics operations and costs.
  • Provide analysis and reports on logistics operations and performance metrics.
  • Optimize supply chain operations to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure timely clearance of goods.
  • Maintain a comprehensive record of logistics activities and associated documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in logistics or supply chain field.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics management practices, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, or similar supply chain tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.
