QA Tester (225-728)

As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, reviewing system requirements, and tracking quality assurance metrics like defect densities and open defect counts. Your focus will be on detecting issues before a product release by running various types of testing to ensure optimal performance of the software. Achieving this requires working closely with the development team to understand the business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards of quality. You’ll contribute to building our software solutions through efficient testing and collaborate with your teammates to enhance the overall testing process.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement detailed test strategies and test plans.
• Execute a variety of testing procedures for a seamless user experience.
• Identify, document, and track software defects during testing phases.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide feedback on product design.
• Plan and conduct root cause analysis to identify critical issues.

• Develop and implement automated testing scripts and scenarios.

• Prepare and distribute testing reports to inform stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in QA testing or similar software testing roles.
• Familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills required.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with different teams.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing processes preferred.
