Job Description

The Pricing Coordinator is a critical role within our company, responsible for managing and optimizing the pricing strategies to ensure competitive positioning in the market. This position involves close collaboration with various departments including sales, finance, and marketing to analyze pricing data, oversee pricing models, and implement strategic pricing decisions. The Pricing Coordinator plays a key role in executing and monitoring pricing campaigns, along with maintaining pricing databases and systems. This role demands a blend of quantitative analysis, strategic thinking, and attention to detail to drive profitability and customer satisfaction. As a Pricing Coordinator, you will be pivotal in influencing company revenue by making data-driven pricing decisions and adjustments to align with market trends and customer expectations.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends and competitor pricing strategies to inform pricing decisions.
  • Develop and maintain detailed pricing models and databases for analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to establish pricing strategies.
  • Conduct regular pricing audits to ensure compliance with established pricing policies.
  • Monitor pricing performance and optimize pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Assist in the development of pricing campaigns and promotional pricing initiatives.
  • Provide accurate and timely pricing information to support business decision-making.
  • Evaluate the impact of pricing changes on volume, revenue, and profit margins.
  • Support the development and implementation of a pricing governance framework.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on pricing strategy and performance metrics.
  • Investigate pricing anomalies and rectify any discrepancies promptly.
  • Stay abreast of industry pricing trends and emerging pricing methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in pricing analysis or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
