The Role
Escalent is poised for an explosive growth phase hence, we are significantly ramping-up operations. Our Quantitative Research and Analytics team that services all of our key verticals is witnessing a significant surge in work volume. We are looking for a seasoned professional with expert knowledge in this field and a Strategy Consulting mindset. The candidate will play an instrumental role in servicing the increased demand without losing time and quality.
The designation will be Director – Quantitative Research and Analytics and the reporting will be to the Global Delivery Head. Directors are a part of the Leadership team at Escalent, and are expected to own client relationships, subject matter expertise and quality execution on multiple engagements
Directors own account management and independently lead business development support activities with current and prospective clients
They possess distinctive knowledge and use it to serve high-performing industry leaders
They own and deliver strategic research and consulting engagements – they lead creation of analytical plans on engagements, guide the team to conduct appropriate analysis, present findings to the clients
They actively participate in designing and streamlining organizational processes, strategic decision-making and capability building
Responsibilities
Commercial / Account Management and Farming
End-to-end responsibility for delivery on key client accounts front end role in scoping and delivery of key projects to clients
Develop marketable solutions/capabilities
Adhere to high quality standards across all proposals
Identify sales trends and closely manage profitability on projects
Should be available to travel to present project outcomes to clients, and to support business development endeavors
Engagement Delivery
Build analytical plans on accounts, and secure buy-in from client and internal stakeholders
Lead / participate in telephonic or in-person hypothesis gathering sessions, and moderate client discussions
Lead a team to conduct research as per standard industry protocols using multiple methodologies
Guide multiple project teams to cull-out insights and recommendations for the client, and help present project outcomes in client conversations
Demonstrate subject matter expertise and gravitas in business areas to help add validity and relevance to findings from an engagement
Ensure high levels of productivity and quality in the managed engagements
New Account Development
Work closely with the sales leadership to develop new client accounts and new areas of business
Lead and support revenue growth by providing subject matter expertise in the design and delivery phases of engagements
Special Projects
Manage any special projects/initiatives depending on the business need
Candidate Profile
MBA / Post-Graduation from a reputed Management Institute
10+ years of experience in delivering strategic insights engagements across industries involving quantitative research techniques
Solid experience in leading project-based engagements and delivering findings to senior client stakeholders
High proficiency in designing and leading engagements for segmentation studies, brand tracking exercises, concept evaluation studies, choice-based task studies, purchase process research, satisfaction, pricing research and any other usage and attitude studies
Expertise in leading analytical planning for an engagement, developing research instruments, designing survey samples, managing vendors, delivering insights and presenting recommendations to the clients
Exposure in managing fieldwork using multiple data collection methodologies – Online, F2F, CAPI, Intercept surveys, mystery shopping etc.
Expertise in using advanced analytical techniques such as Conjoint Analysis, Max- Diff Analysis, Segmentation, Regression, Modelling etc.
Hands-on experience in using multiple statistical tools such as SPSS, Advanced Excel, other tabulation and analysis tools
Exposure of managing profitability of accounts, and driving revenue growth through Account Farming and Business Development support
Track record of authoring point of view articles, participation in conferences will be an added advantage
Hands-on approach and must work as an Individual Contributor as and when required
