Job Description

The HR Administrator plays a pivotal role in supporting and ensuring the smooth running of an HR department. This position involves a blend of administrative, compliance, and organizational tasks that are essential to maintaining a harmonious work environment. The individual is a key player in handling employee records, facilitating recruitment processes, supporting HR initiatives, and ensuring accurate implementation of human resources policies. The HR Administrator must possess excellent organizational and communication skills to interact with staff at various levels within an organization. Their proactive approach and attention to detail help in executing HR tasks efficiently, thus contributing to the overall productivity and morale of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee records both physically and in HR software systems.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process to welcome new hires smoothly.
  • Support the HR Manager in the development and implementation of HR initiatives.
  • Process payroll accurately and handle employee queries related to compensation.
  • Manage employee benefit programs such as health insurance, leaves, and retirement plans.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR policies and practices for compliance and improvement.
  • Handle the preparation and distribution of HR communications and announcements.
  • Schedule and coordinate HR-related meetings, interviews, and training sessions.
  • Assist with performance management procedures and documentations for evaluations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Support initiatives for employee engagement through activities and feedback systems.
  • Ensure legal compliance with labor and employment laws at all times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least two years of experience working in an HR administrative role.
  • Proficient in using HR software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures is essential.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills required.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
  • Detail-oriented approach with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
