Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods. Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
• Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse facility.
• Inspect forklifts before and after use to ensure operational safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of forklifts to maintain performance.
• Manage inventory control through thorough record-keeping and labeling processes.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to optimize material flow and storage.
• Adhere to safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents and injuries.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining an orderly warehouse space.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document all shipments and receipts accurately in inventory systems.
• Support other warehouse tasks as needed, including packing and assembly activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification required.
• Previous experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting preferred.
• Valid forklift operating license and knowledge of safety protocols mandatory. 
• Accepting those who have expired license and willing to renew once accepted on the job.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members.
• Basic computer skills for handling inventory management software.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if needed.
