Job Description

The Finance Executive plays a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of an organization, driving growth while ensuring careful financial planning and strategy implementation. This position demands a seasoned professional with a keen understanding of financial principles and the acumen to apply them in real-world scenarios. The Finance Executive will be responsible for significant financial decision-making pertaining to budgeting, forecasting, and investment strategies. The role requires continuous interaction with various departments and stakeholders to provide financial insights that enable strategic decision-making. An ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership abilities, coupled with exceptional analytical skills, and the capacity to communicate complex financial data succinctly and effectively to a diverse audience.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of financial strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Supervise the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Analyze financial reports to identify areas of improvement and optimize performance.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the management team, based on financial analysis and projections.
  • Manage the capital request and budgeting processes to maintain financial health.
  • Ensure effective internal controls are in place and compliance with international finance laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to review budgets and financial strategies regularly.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks by implementing robust risk management policies.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team to cultivate a high-performance environment.
  • Liaise with auditors, bankers, and investors to maintain professional relationships and secure financial interests.
  • Drive strategies for cost reduction, profit improvement, and enhanced cash flow management.
  • Continuously update financial strategies in accordance with market trends and organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position.
  • Proven track record of success in financial planning and strategy implementation.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • In-depth understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools for accounting and data analysis.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CFA is highly desirable.
