Electrical Site Supervisor (225-1002)

As an Electrical Site Supervisor, you will be tasked with overseeing and managing all electrical-related activities on a construction site. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all electrical systems, installations, and operations are carried out effectively, safely, and in accordance with design specifications, codes, and regulations. The role demands a strong commitment to quality assurance and excellent project management skills. You will be at the forefront of troubleshooting electrical issues, planning work for technicians, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and liaising with subcontractors. Your expertise will be vital in coordinating with site engineers, managing resources, verifying material specifications, and ensuring that project timelines and objectives are steadfastly met.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all electrical activities at the construction site daily.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of electrical systems and installations.
• Manage site resources and make sure all equipment are used efficiently.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, construction managers, and site engineers.
• Verify and approve specifications and quality of materials and supplies onsite.
• Lead and mentor a team of electrical technicians and subcontractors efficiently.
• Review and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics correctly.
• Ensure all work is executed in line with the approved project timelines and budgets.
• Prepare and submit detailed project reports and documentation to management regularly.
• Identify potential electrical issues and address them promptly and effectively.
• Implement scope changes efficiently while maintaining project integrity and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience working in electrical construction supervision.
• Profound knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
• Strong project management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagram interpretation.
• A valid electrical certification/licensing according to local jurisdiction requirements.
