Job Description

As a Data Entry Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our organization's data systems. Your primary responsibility will be to input, update, and manage data efficiently and accurately in our databases and systems. You will ensure that all information is precise and up-to-date, contributing significantly to the overall data quality within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work methodically. Being a part of our team, you will support other departments by providing high-quality data entry services, supporting ongoing projects, and contributing to the team's overall success.


Responsibilities

  • Accurately input and update information into company databases and systems daily.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of data entries made into the systems.
  • Sort, organize, and file paperwork as required for data management tasks.
  • Identify and correct data entry errors to ensure high data quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and deadlines consistently.
  • Follow strict data privacy and confidentiality protocols at all times.
  • Assist in developing data entry procedures and update them periodically.
  • Maintain a high typing speed with minimal errors under tight deadlines.
  • Prepare and sort source documents, identifying and interpreting data for input.
  • Respond to information requests from authorized members within the organization.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new software and technologies used for data entry.
  • Support other administrative tasks as required by management to ensure smooth operation.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or similar role required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience with database management software and data entry systems mandatory.
  • Excellent typing speed of at least 40 words per minute required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly in data.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Familiarity with clerical procedures and data management best practices.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
