Job Description

The Channel Sales Manager is pivotal for driving revenue growth and expanding market share through strategic partnerships and efficient channel sales operations. This role involves developing and nurturing relationships with various channel partners such as resellers, distributors, and other external stakeholders to promote and sell the company's products or services. As a Channel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for creating channel strategies, monitoring partner performance, and ensuring sales targets are met. Moreover, you will collaborate with other departments to align channel initiatives with overall business objectives. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent interpersonal skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of sales processes and partner ecosystems.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve channel sales targets and objectives.
  • Identify and recruit potential partners to optimize the company’s distribution network.
  • Establish strong and lasting relationships with existing channel partners and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate partner performance to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to educate partners about products and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design promotional and incentive programs for partners.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with channel partners to ensure mutual benefits.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide partners with timely support and resources to facilitate their sales efforts.
  • Prepare and present reports on channel sales performance and progress to senior management.
  • Work closely with product teams to align product offerings with partner needs and demands.
  • Ensure that partners comply with the company’s policies and legal regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales with a focus on channel management.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing partner relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess performance metrics and market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with partners and clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools is highly desirable.
