Job Description

A Change Management Executive plays a critical role in ensuring that change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles, and organizational structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage while minimizing resistance. The Change Management Executive will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of, and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. The main aim is to improve benefit realization, value creation, ROI, and the achievement of results and outcomes.


Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive change management strategies to facilitate smooth organizational transitions.
  • Identify potential risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.
  • Coordinate efforts with other specialists to implement a holistic change management approach across various functions.
  • Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.
  • Support communication efforts to build awareness and engagement around change initiatives.
  • Provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions.
  • Oversee the tracking and reporting of project change readiness metrics and measures.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.
  • Lead training sessions to educate employees on changes and how they will impact operations.
  • Assess change impact and organizational readiness to adopt new initiatives successfully.
  • Design and implement resistance management plans to address employee and stakeholder concerns.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve change management strategies by soliciting feedback from stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field required.
  • Proven experience in change management or similar roles within complex organizations.
  • Strong understanding of change processes and methodologies such as Prosci or ADKAR.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in change management software and tools is highly desirable.
