Responsibilities

• Produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD software to specifications provided by engineers.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to understand the full scope of projects.
• Create accurate and clear sketches as needed for project plans and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with all standard drafting practices and quality assurance requirements.
• Support the conversion of conceptual designs into technical plans and schematics.
• Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements required.
• Monitor progress and coordinate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Conduct site inspections to collect precise measurements and assess conditions.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings, ensuring easy retrieval when needed.
• Provide support and technical expertise in preparation for project presentations.
• Stay updated on AutoCAD software versions and drafting technology innovations.
• Assist in the preparation of tender and construction-related documents.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman or similar position in engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other related computer-aided design software.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills are mandatory.
• Knowledge of drafting standards and engineering illustration practices.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Degree in architecture, engineering, or relevant technical field is preferred.
